Total letdown

It is 3am and I just finished Aftershock. It was a quick read, but I have to say I am highly disappointed with Sylvia Day on this one... I have been waiting for this book since the second I finished reading Afterburn, and it was a total letdown. The bulk of the story was good, but the ending sucked!! It was way too rushed and it felt as though she didn't put more than an hour's time into the last 10%-15% of the book. I am glad that the book was only $3 because had it been any more I would be furious right now. I sure hope she doesn't butcher the rest of the Crossfire series the same way!

Sylvia Day is slowly becoming disappointing

I was introduced to Sylvia Day in an airport on my way home from basic training almost 2 years ago. I sang her praises to anyone who'd listen. And, despite others saying different, I even loved that she expanded the Crossfire series. More of my favorite characters? I'll take that.
But, in my opinion, this book wasn't a full attempt. Ms. Day, I love your work. And because I do, I can tell you that you've disappointed readers today. The story was rushed and I never got just why Jax's family was so terrible. I don't find it believable at all. I finished the book feeling like I was missing something. Please, go back to the woman who wrote Bared to You. We miss her!

15% of quizzes/tests at the end. Really?! We have waited months and months for this book and it was extremely short. Good story but very disappointed in the length.
