Just Ask Any Oyster about The Walrus & The Carpenter!!

In reading the narrative poem The Walrus and the Carpenter, one sees these two characters walking on the ocean’s beach when they sight four oysters and cordially invite them to come ashore. Other oysters from the bed follow along. In doing so the oysters find that both the walrus and the carpenter are predatory creatures and the fate of their curiosity is sealed as they are devoured by these two odd individuals.
This poem can be seen in an excerpt in Alice in Wonderland, which is depicted in Disney’s 1951 animated movie. What makes the poem so interesting as it depicts a very human frailty in showing deceitfulness. In fact it’s a wonderful depiction of a modern day politician on showing concern and empathy towards people but in reality is seeking his or her own personal agenda!

I remember the cartoon but couldn't find the poem/story.
Finally. Everything makes sense.
I would have to say that the cartoon was good for a Child and poem is good for the adult whose able to put the two together
